standalone 2tpy??
I have trieed MSC 5.5/6.0 but that makes my game CTD before battles (campaign and custom - custom is bugged anyway apparently)
I was wondering if there is a standalone version for 6.4

data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\campaign_script.txt
Find the section labeled "Ageing Script" and delete that entire section.
In the same folder you will find a file called descr_strat. Find the timescale and change the value from 1 to 0.5.
This is not save game compatible.

Re: standalone 2tpy??
Will this change the events and stuff that are scripted to the 1tpy script?

Re: standalone 2tpy??
Events are based off of years. An event that happens in, for example, 1300 with 1 TPY will still happen in 1300 for 2 TPY. Of course, with 2 TPY, it will take twice as many turns to happen.

Re: standalone 2tpy??
So its not 'heavy mail after 100 turns' its 'heavy mail 1300'?
In that case thanks, though your sure theres nothing else to it?
On the side of caution, it sounds to simple.

Re: standalone 2tpy??
It's that simple because you want to change to 2 TPY, which is the default aging in Vanilla M2TW. If you wanted to change to anything else except 2 TPY, you would have to insert a new aging script. Since you want to change to 2 TPY though, all you have to do is delete the aging script that is already there. That will allow SS to use default aging.

Re: standalone 2tpy??
However, I prefer the MSC version, since it also affects the refreshment rate of recruitment pools, construction times and so on. Strange that you're experiencing CTDs with MSC, I've only encountered a few odd CTDs here and there, but nothing constant

Re: standalone 2tpy??
Yeah, I started out as genoa, sent the armies spare to marseille and pisa and the battle would crash just before it loaded, The campaign itself seemed good though :/
Might give it another go.
