    Default Population detail

I think abit more detail should be added. Firstly populations should be split into urban and rural, this in itself can add new buildings and chance for investment in either the city or in the countryside.

Then i think that these should be split into further groups, not too complicated but something like poor, rich, those with real power. Or something like that, obviously worded much better.

What are all your views on this guys ?

Well, they did it in ETW and NTW when you had taxes for the rich and the poor. In Shogun 2 that was gone because things were different there but I would expect something different in Rome 2. We will see when they are ready to give us a campaign gameplay preview - and that is months away.

It would make sense to discriminate patricians and plebeians as far as Rome goes. Something analogous could be used for the Diadochi but I am not sure how they would deal with the social structure of steppe nomads and peoples like that Suebi. Things are already complex enough in roman society where a dualistic approach of Plebeian x Patrician is already a very rough draft of the social reality so I can't even imagine how you would do it for those tribal federations.

This thread reminded me the poppulation issue of RTW.
No matter what classes the poppulation will be one is for sure.
Poppulation numbers and recruitment ones must be directly connected AGAIN as they were in RTW.
In M2TW the poppulation did not dicrease when the player recruited a unit.
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

What about the rural and urban division ? There was always alot more people living in rural areas rather than cities. It is only just recently that a majority of people now live within cities.

What about equites? I though they were midd class, so we need 3 classes:
    Patricians (nobility)
Equites (middle class, farmers i think)
Plepeij (poor class, dos what ever he can, after marius they formed core of army.)
Apologies for anyone who's message i may miss or not be able to answer

Marius allowed the poor to enlist in the ARmy, this was a monumental change for Rome, which for 700 years this was a big NO NO!!

Dividing by Rich and Poor can be translated for nearly ALL civilised societies. Many ancient societies only allowed their wealthy / middle class into the army mainly because they didn't trust the have-nots with weapons, Aristocrats had more trust in neighbouring aristocrats than their own poor .. they saw what happened in Athens (democratic society - commoner ruled).

Equites were those who owned property worth more than 40.000 sesterti.
That would make them decidedly not middle class.

Because no one wants to deal with the census the only groups of interest are:
    Patricians (Including Nobiles)
    Citizens
    Non-Roman Citizens
    Slaves

I think the system should be the same for all factions, hence why ive done only lower class and higher class. Though i suppose if a middle class was small or not important for a faction they dont need to particularly have many.
