    Default NPC Faction - Huskus

    Huskus


    Main Color: Olive
    Religion: Goddess Acknowledgement
    Culture: Naturalistic
    Rival Factions: Gohma
    Cordial Factions: None

    Strengths, Weaknesses, and Abilities:
    - Xenophobic: The Huskus are terrified of outside influence and culture, and will rarely ally or engage in warfare with anyone, with the exception of the Gohma whom they are always at war with.
    - Forest Dwellers: Huskus excel at combat in heavily forested areas.

    How to make them appear in the Campaign: Taking over half of the the Kokiri Forest as the Gohma will cause the Huskus Remnants to Spawn. Additionally, completing the "Guardian Sage" event will spawn the Huskus Remnants.

    The ancient insectoid Huskus once had an empire that spanned the entire Kokiri Forest until the Gohma of the Misery Mire swept across Hyrule centuries past and initiated a genocidal war against them. Eventually the natives of Hyrule pushed the Gohma back to their swamps, but at that point the once proud Huskus Empire was in ruins with only a handful of survivors. Over the centuries they have slowly rebuilt their society deep in the Kokiri Forest, where they have chosen to worship the ancient Sage Palagard. The Huskus refuse contact with outsiders, and while they never seem willing to go out of their way to attack anyone, they are not above decapitating an innocent person who happened to wander into their territory.

    Why not have the Huskus be able to domesticate Hiploops, giant dragonflys and other insectoid creatures?

    yeah perhaps even a version of the tektites could be worked into this faction

    Will the Guardian Sage event only occur for the Gohma or will every faction be able to make them spawn.

    hmm, i was Playing as Hyrule, and immediately after allying with them, they wanted Membership into my faction.Are they supposed to do that?i Even gave them a city in hopes they would be an awesome ally, but it didnt work. Thats too bad, i love the Huskus. This occurred on Several Playthroughs of Hyrule and Kokiri

    That would be the feature of absorbing them into your faction, happens with all the NPC factions.

    +1 attack roll per initiative order. *

    * Can attack with blades and tail in one turn.

    YURAK
    Class: Aeraflos (sp?)

    Race: Aeroflos ( sp?)

    Yes, they are supposed to be integrated into your faction. This gives the ability to build their units, gain their territories, and use their armies in the name of your Empire.

    ah, i see. Wasn't used to it, as it never happened in the last version of the mod.had a neat plan to start trying to integrate other empires into my own now! Maybe the base ones like Zora, Gorons, and Kokiri.

    With the plans of rebalancing all factions under the new Template system, I think vaguely 'What traits should the Huskus units, such as they are, have?'.

    I vaguely wonder 'Should the Huskus have an economy beyond farming?' You'd think the Huskus, being having a legitimate imperial legacy, would have more than dirt farming, even with them being shattered remnants. Especially with Palaguard being alive again.

    I think an electric-based mage unit would fit the Huskus perfectly. That, or give Palagard an attack like that.

    I agree with Palagard getting it. He's a sage after all. But I'm not sure about his people..... Personally, I think the Huskus Body form would work great as a type of Natural ranged weapon support.
