Rome total war right click problem

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I am posting to get some help on a problem I have with RTW.

I installed Medieval Total War II and Company of Heroes and have been playing both without any problems....On the Campaign Map when I select a unit and right mouse click to send it to a destination the mouse cursor jumps to the bottom right hand corner of the screen. The unit atempts to move to this location (and usually reports that this is impossible). Clearly this makes the game unplayable.

Plzz help..

Vanilla? Mod? Anything between the two like enemy troops, mountins without a pass to go through, river without a crossing amonst others can get this message.

Have you turned off the fog of war and check the paths available to you?

Have you tried taking what it will give you and see what is in the way? It may take a few moves even in the same turn.
