    that would work for me, but can you have larger bridges than the ones over the tiny rivers?

    Or have it near one of the edges of the lake (presumably the KoH side), where you can cross onto/off of it, à la Cair Andros from TATW?

    I understand that it will lose that "key position" feature, but unless you want to have ships in the lake (which I wouldn't mind), it's really that or a bridge.

    Seems perfect. The Island is generally close to the edge of the lake... it just so happens to usually be an edge we can't step on (due to the tall steep rocky walls) but even that wasn't always the case.

    No, you can't actually have a river splitting a settlement. What they've done for Osgiliath in TATW is as close as you can get, AFAIK.

    that one works for me as well. then again i have Zero knowledge of how to do anything editing/modding wise so i'm strictly an idea guy.

    I believe alot of are just idea guys, me included . Even so, if I had the ability I would help mod the ever living fecal matter out of this mod. Btw, anyone have any opinions about the southern forest map I did?

    Just a quick suggestion. I Think it would be best to have the rebel Territories within (at least) a few turns marching distance from the other factions Territories. I'm Playing as the Rebels in the campaign right now (I changed them to playable in the world folder) And I have an entire military marching for the Sunken City. My army is almost complete and when it is, my doomstack of rebel conscripts, fairy's, and other freaks are going to head for Domain Prime and take it over! I Think the Rebels should start with a large military, and be able to fend off attacks from the other factions for a while, but I don't think they should be able to conquer all of hyrule

    Just modify the top of the "descr_strat.txt" in the campaign folder, moving factions from the unplayable to playable section.

    for future reference, how do i make npc factions playable in custom battles? cause i'd really like to play as all of the upcoming npcs.

    I can see the Gerudo having an island Pirate base to start out with down south, or the Moblins having the Forsaken Fortress as an island base.

    err...

    make sure that the file isn't "Read Only" or that you're the administrator whilst editing the file.

    With Windows 7, you might have to click, "Run as Administrator" even if you are the admin. It is very annoying.
