    It would be a good idea to keep Termina "Locked up" so Ordona can grab the new Ordon territories, and fight with Lizalfos and Moblins. Then TERMINA UNLEASHED!!!!! Majora rebels and Ikana Empire coming in spears swinging. With a whole new sub continent for the taking.

    It will also make the return of Termina a little more climatic, a huge event that rocks the core of everyone in Hyrule, (but mostly the Ordonians, if that's where they land. Man, for a people with little to no standing army, they need to put with a lot!) rather than it being a matter of practically no interest to the northern and eastern nations. In fact, the Twili and Stalfos have always come in on the west for me (I know Twili are spawned on purpose, but I heard that Stalfos are supposed to be random?) so if you are a eastern nation, all this means jack poop to you. What events occur in the east?

    They can attempt to conquer the world if they like, but if they even think of limiting my proud Ordona's freedom, they will have so many horse powered spears (actually, Ordona mounts don't get any bonus charge weapons) rammed up their arses, they won't know if it's bacon or tuesday! But I'm getting off topic now...

    it might be better to make some of those territories a bit bigger. expand them into the east, towards Labrynna.

    I know i was just noticing that. I was having a real hard time gauging how large these territories have to be. Not to mention my not so steady hand having to draw these territories out. I will go back and try my bes to redo them. I have a class soon, so it might take a while. And if anyone likes, i do not mind someone trying to help! This is a community project, not just my own.

    EDIT: Took some of the advice from paul and others, check it out.

    Im kinda getting into this kind of late but, If you are adding more cities around the lake i think you should expand Hylia Lake otherwise i think things will be cramped. Also I think islands would be awesome. Should put resources on them to gives players and AIs a reason to go get them. Be a reason to have a Navy sense you dont fight those out wouldnt require anything special skin wise. Plus for Armies like Darknuts and Gurudo which I would assume dont have much resource wise sense they are technically in the waste land. This would improve their economy. Add resources inland to the other factions to balance this

    i don't know if this was intentional or not, but you just gave me an idea to have the Water Temple on an island in the middle of lake Hylia as a city or castle. i think that would be kinda awesome, but it would also mean you need ships in the lake which i am against.

    decisions, decisions.

    Suggestions:

    The Ikana area of the map IMO should feature 4 "main regions" for the old empire. Ikana Canyon, Ikana Castle, Stone Tower Fortress(it is described in game by Igos as being a fortress), and Ikana Graveyard.

    Mt Crenel should be apart of the death mountain region. However, in the Minish Cap Mt Crenel was in the upper left, I.E. west of Hyrule Castle, so it could also feasibly be apart of the mountain chain that Snowpeak is currently on.

    The Village of the Blue Maiden should be a town somewhere around the Vidjaro region so that if the Wizzrobe appear, that village is one of the first they take, as it is known for its dark magic.

    Hidden Village somewhere near Kakariko

    Castor Wilds aut to be in the Darknut territories. Geographically in the minish cap it was in the lower left, southwest of hyrule, also they are one of the few places in the Minish Cap where you fight darknuts. Its a swamp, which wouldnt be too out of the ordinary considering the geology in the current version of the map in the area.

    Tower of Winds from FSA is found in the frozen Hyrule part of the map, which was southwest of Hyrule Castle. Considering Duke's theory behind TMC and the canceled 3rd oracles game, One could put the Tower of Winds nearby of right beside the Castor Wilds as the conection between the areas can be made.

    Also from FSA, was the desert of doubt, and within it the Great Pyramid. The place where the Trident of power was created and stolen by Ganon. This could be an area interjected into the Gerudo Desert area, especially considering in FSA Gerudo live in the desert of doubt.

    Tower of Flames/Tower of Hera, from FSA and Alltp respectivly, both are in on death Mountain. Could be a fortress for the region if they're arent enough up there.

    Temple of Darkness, now this is an interesting area, because it is located in the lost woods, and is the orignal resting place of the dark mirror. The place where Vaati stole the dark mirror in FSA and used it to spawn hundreds of Dark Links to attack and pester the people of hyrule. Now there is also a good theory out there that this mirror is also the only other way of entering the Twilight Realm, which neph could use this area as a second region to spawn the Twilight onto the map. Obviously this region could go in the forest area.

    Royal Valley/Graveyard, I've mentioned this in other threads for certain reasons.

    Veil Falls/waterfall of Wishing from MC/Alltp, in both games this is where you recieve a swimming upgrade, and in both they are to the east of Hyrule, so sowhere between Zora and Kokiri territory could work.

    Western Wood, an area from the minish cap, can be added to hyrule field. Its just directly west of Hyrule in that game, and is a nice mix of trees and plains.


    Also in moblin territories instead of making up regions how about using areas from the Dark World in Alltp , such as Plains of Ruin, Village of Outcasts, Thieves Town, Swamp of Evil, Turtle Rock, Misery Mire, Ice Lake, and Skeleton forest.

    Is there any possibility of giving the gohma one or two settlements near the kokiri woods to be a catalyst for their rivalry. Not anything huge for territory just enough that they have a reason to attack each other. Right now with the geographic isolation of the two factions they don't really attack each other. It is more of hyrule that attacks the gohma.

    Southern Jungle/Woods

    This regions was particularly tricky to split apart and give names too. I had to take from almost every Zelda game and types of Reptilian enemies from Zelda. Actually, if anyone has any better names for these territories please feel free to tell me.



    1. Kasuto- New Territory
    Named after the Hidden village in Zelda 2

    2. Tribily - New Territory
    Named after the same zone in Minish cap. I think it works well considering it borders mountainous regions and Heights was apart of the original name.

    3. Timberfell- Re-zoned

    4. Ukshulut - Re-zoned

    5. Korkuloki- New Territory
    Took the name from one of the forum topics, forget which.

    6. Tyrannus- Renamed
    renamed from Faron Prime, thought it worked well as the capitals name, considering Tyrannosaurus you know.

    7. Dairan- New Territory
    Named after the Daira, reptilian creature from Adventure of Link.

    8. Waterfall Rapids- New Territoy
    From MM, was not able to fit it next to the Great bay area so i moved it to the other side.

    9. Helmar- New Territory
    Named after the Helmasaur from many Zelda games.

    10. Castor Wilds- New Territory
    From the Minish cap!

    11. Gerulut- New Territory
    Named after the Geru, from The Adventure of link

    12. Kodon- New Territory
    Named after the Kodondo, sticking with the Lizard idea

    13. Maku Meadow- New Territory
    Area from OoA and OoS, thought it was good considering its next to Labyrnna.

    14. Piratia- New Territory
    Named after the Piratians, from OoA and OoS, who ususally took up residence of the two games coastal regions.

    15. Fort of Wings - Re-positions/Re zoned

    16. Zazak- New Territory
    Named after the Zazakku from A Link to the Past.

    Now granted many of these names are named after monsters, but i had little to go on and other names would not fit in the region since many belong to regions like the northern moblin kingdom or Horon/ Tarm area.

    Since most of the map is rebel grey, i could not very well color the Lizalfos faction grey too. So i went with Blood red. the green is from the deku i believe. The Khaki is Ordon and the Tan is Ikana. I tried to go with the faction colors according to Neph.

    since Neph seemed to like my idea of lake Hylia being surrounded by ports for trade, might i also suggest we make the lake quite a bit bigger, almost like an inland sea?
