    Default Version 8.0 Platinum Beta Update 41(Gameplay upgrade for the old DMUC before the Full Release)

    Step 1
    First download and install DMUC 6.2 and DMUC 7.0+:
    >>>DOWNLOAD<<< DarthMod Ultimate Commander 6.2 and 7.0+ Patch (DMUC)

    Step 2
    Then download this DMUC_8.0_Open_Beta_Platinum_Update41.7z

    Step 3
    Follow exactly these instructions:
    Beta Test
    -Unzip somewhere
    -Copy/paste DMUC_Core.pack and DMUC_BSM.pack to your "Data" game folder which usually resides in
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data
    (A notice will appear to ask you if you want to overwrite the files and you must answer "Yes")

    *WARNING1*

    After doing this do not change the smoke options and also Gameplay->DarthMod Core or else you will override the new files and you will not play as it is intended for the purposes of the beta. If you are unsure, copy/paste them again as mentioned above.

    *WARNING2*
    Do not use any older DMUC_BSM.pack because you lose not only the new effects but a lot of new projectile settings very important for this beta.

    Could you power up the pikemen in Platinum Darth? They seem to become useless, I don't know why but with the last games I played they get owned every time. They lose against plain militia without bayonets, they lose against a cavalry unit running into the phalanx(phalanx won't hold? dafuq?)
    You didn't changed anything did you? I don't understand why this is happening.

    just wondering. a question, Is DMUC8 final release going to be a big complete standalone pack (not needing 6.2+7) or is it going to be incremental update like the beta updates here? thanks.

    Heres a little report playing on VH/H as the British....The BAI is the best ive ever seen it! I mean I nearly lost to a polish army even with me having superior numbers and they didnt overlap once during the whole battle.They advanced in a straight line and had a massive shootout with my troops with cavalry battles going on at the flanks.They done a real number on my troopers and stopped my advance into germany for a while.I mean that just never happened to me before.
    Only thing with the BAI is those bloody forts in the battles when they sally out to meet youThe a.i deals with it better than previous versions but they dont advance as a group due to going out seperate gates and trying to line up etc.When they were all outside the fort it caused them to overlap a bit but not charge into melee.Just a little bit of shooting in the back going onBut it was a good battle anyways.Maybe you could add in the no forts again(iff it works ok now)or add a option to make forts ridiculously expensive so that nobody can build them because those forst really impact the a.i's ability to give you a awesome battle.
    As for the CAI I see no problems.Loads of strange stuff happening like the mughals getting territory next to courland and sweden getting territory in the indian mountains etc.Also I think the A.i might be replenishing armies more or that just might be because I have it on very hard so more money for them.And also more important.Lots of wars and fighting going on.

    HITPOINTS FOR THE GENERAL!! ...sory im not yelling it's just...If it's not too late and If Its compatibile with your plan Darth...it's just...the generals die so fast and so foolish....at least the greatest ones should have a hit point higher don't you agree??

    All generals are the same as far as health is concerned, so the "greater" ones cannot be treated any different.

    They are also normal men, and die just as easily if in the wrong place.

    The release date is never, I repeat never going to be publicised. Its ready when its ready, not one moment sooner.

    I'd just like to remind everyone that "when is it going to be ready" questions are liable to deletion if I am in anything other than a very good mood.

    DarthTeam, thank you for making Empire better! I just tried the latest beta.

    So bloody and stunning. The smopke effects are just great. But they seem to lag my Pc a bit when zoomed in

    Thank you for the feedback.
    Please all tell me your opinions about everything: especially BAI, CAI and the new effects. The new effects may be a little heavy for some PCs but this is why we will add a Lite version.

    Also, very important. Can you test if this No-Fort mod is compatible with DarthMod so to add it?

    Yes it works. But does not remove starting forts.

    It is not, I repeat NOT compatible with previous saves, unlike the no forts mod already in DarthMod.

    Tango, we do not need old saves. We are talking about a new thing to add, that I believe is better than the older No Fort Option.

    I usually don't post for betas, but from what I've seen shohk's no forts works fine, no issues.

    mm the launcher version is so close I can taste it..

    I meant you can't turn it on and off during a campaign like the previous option (and quite a number, but not all, of the others). I was not considering old saves, but saves people make with the current version.

    I assume certain nations can build them or are they just residuals from the start pos?
