    Default Campaign map lag

    Hey guys, I'm experiencing extreme lag when I enter the campaign map in Rome total war, as well as Medieval II. I've recently installed a fresh copy of windows XP, but before I installed it I remember running rome total war - maxed out settings, no problem. Not even a slightest lag. I was wondering If anyone can help me please? I will attach dxdiag in this post.

    Have you tried updating the motherboard drivers of which I would assume would be www.nvidia.com by chance?
    Update the latest WHQL graphics drivers from www.amd.com as the you could be causing problems.
    Try updating the AC97 drivers at www.realtek.com.tw as yours are still 2004.
    Combine the two harddrive partitons back into one and give the computer a chance to work if possible.
    run Microsoft Update and install all software options.
