    Default Melee combat

Is there anywhere i can find more information about the melee combat, like interviews?

Since this game focus alot on melee i hope it is way better than Shogun2.

I dont like it when some soldiers just standing there doing nothing while their mates get slaughtered. I want to see more chaos.
And i want to see not just 1 on 1 fights, but 1 on 2, 1 on 3 etc..

And for example someone coming from behind and stab in the back, or someone holding a soldier while another one cut his throat. Stuff like that.

Maybe 1st one but 2nd, I don't think so. Anyway I hope for more realistic speed then Shogun2.

I'm thinking the "stab-in-the-back" animations and mechanics in battle mode would make for a quicker battle, something which a number of users has described as a downer about Shogun2.

they should add better melee but i havent heard any specifics other than that the other soldiers are going to react more upon seeing their buddies getting massacred and stuff so theres a pretty good chance we can have more people fighting one target

I just think that the soldiers when dead don't all fall the same on the ground as it was in medieval II. After the battle you have a field of corpses lying in the same way on the ground which kinda funny to me.

For the melee itself , I would like to see the back stabbing kills like the were in Rome I. No matter how the soldier was strong, when back stabbed he died quickly the normal as he was exposed which is realistic in my mind.
