Positioning
IN Rome TW(1), you could not really choose the position of your troops when you set up camp for example, on top of a plain, or right next to a stream. I think that in Rome II, you should be able to scout out the area, and choose a spot which you want. Once, I was in a really hill area of Sinai, and being the Seleucids, I was invading Egypt. I fought a battle between the faction leader and one of my generals. I wanted to on top of a mountain, which would allow my archers to come into to play. However, on the battle field, I ended up on a valley. As a result, I lost the battle because I did the right place to engage..... I think that you should be able to send scouts, giving them the idea of what sort of place you want to stop the army...
