    Default the Perfect Westeros Game

How do you immagine it ?

    Would it be a real-time-strategy or a role-playing-one ?
Mostly focused on diplomacy and schemes or armies n fighting ?
Should it have a certain storyline or an open world feel in a general conflict ?
Massive-Online-Multi player (like WoW), or with simply a closed-group multiplayer option ?

    etc etc ..

How would your perfect aSoIaF based game be ???

    discuss

Seconded, it would be a bit like the Elder Scrolls series for me.

Some kind of, but in TES:V Skyrim i was quite disapointed with the battle of whiterun...I expected something like ... a little bigger.

What i meant i would like battles like TW, but i could also fight in them as my character. a little bit like Mount and blade, but more men and political scheming and Chataya.

I feel that the Crusader Kings 2 GOT mod is going to be pretty close to perfect once they finish it and add the War of the 5 Kings scenario.

Mount&Blade with more political scheming. That would be perfect.

An RPG done by Bethesda with the same style as The ElderScrolls game's.

With the ability to choice your allegiance, join the side you wish in times of war and even build your own house as reward for your loyal service. Train men to defend your lands and rally them when your lord calls the banners. This is my dream for the future. To swear my allegiance to Robb Stark... march south with him when he calls the banners and be there at the Red Wedding, to change the turn of events. a much more realistic game would be set before the books, The Age of Hero's would be perfect... still giving you all the choice's of joining kings and building your own history, without changing to much of the books (I think that would be asking a little much)

The sad thing is Bethesda almost did do an RPG based on A Song of Ice and Fire, only to reluctantly turn martin down because they were far to busy with Skyrim to take on a new project... but Todd claims himself and a lot of his staff really liked the idea.

A man can dream people... A man can dream.

The perfect game would be impossible to make but I think it would look like this:

Similar political scheming like in the crusader kings game but much more user friendly.

Commanding armies and moving them around should be similar to the TW series.
You should have the option to autoresolve battles.
On the battlemap you should have the option to command your character/general/hero like in an RPG game (ideal would be to have a close third person view but one like the Company of Heroes games could work too) and have an option next to the minimap to enter a map-like window (or why not a complete different window) where you send commands on the map for small groups of units.

That would be the ultimate realistic game of thrones game You can be the political animal in diplomatic actions, become a skilled general knowing how to put good use of his resources in a war, a good captain who knows how to rally his men in battle or a champion fighter.
Some battles are won with swords and spears, others with quills and ravens. Tywin Lannister

This, except for additionally have a traditional total war battle map view before the Company of heroes type view...

Basically, something no current PC could handle, rendering a fps quality and detail but on a tw scale...

the game would be awesome it would have a map of all the houses and the richest regions , and a religion and manpower map, then you could go in 3rd person view and play as your character a noble lord , son of a lord , knight and other roles , the aim would be to gain influence over the seven kingdoms , and let's say if u started as a knight or lord , peasent scout man at arms you would have to advance in the ranks and be able to send assasin on noble house members on knights priests captains of the guard maesters , spys bastards , and you would have a solid economy where you would need to balance the trade in the region you are controling , oh there are just sooo many thing i can't decide basicaly a 3rd person rpg game with a strategic map to show you all the things i mentioned above elligion region wealth natural resources manpower in the style o the paradox strategy games imean the map feature oh i can't really express it , the game needs to be cpmlex to have a lot of options dipplomatic assasinations soyng creating false rumors sabotaging bribeing and so on and forth

I believe you can't mod ASOIAF scheming to M&B engine. A very promising mod is in development though and I think M&B mod is as close to perfection as we will get.

RPG, and you are able to choose who you are, say you wanted to join the Nights Watch, you become a brother. And it has to start right after Robert Dies so then you can choose alliances and hopefully save poor old Ned!!
