    Hello folks and MOS-players

    As Hero of the West was on well earned vacation and we could not update the original OP; this thread was added to present easily available links to new updates and material.
    As he now is back
    this will be discontinued

    Install MOS 1.25
    1) Install a clean, or use a clean, TATW 3.2 (the important part: no other submods).

    If you already have MOS v1.22 patch it up to v1.23 through step 2a.
    If you already have v1.23 go directly to step 3a.
    If you already have v1.24 go directly to step 4a.


    2a) Download MOS 1.23 (three parts or a patch) here

    Merged with 1.25, bugs solved and works with FAR.

    Download DCI 1.2.5 for MOS 1.25.rar here (not the same file as vanilla DCI): http://www.gamefront.com/files/22086294/DCI+1.2.5+for+MOS+1.25.rar
    and download DCI 1.2.5 for MOS 1.25 PATCH.rar which is attached at the end of this post

    Installation:
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 
    1) Make sure you have installed MOS v1.23 + 1.24 + 1.25

    2) Could recomend to make an additional MOS 1.25-version before installing DCI http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?p=11170662#post11170662

    3) Extract DCI 1.2.5 for MOS 1.25.rar into the folder .../Medieval II Total War/mods/Third_Age_3 [or what you rename the folder to if using step 2].
    Accept overwrite (if you do not get the question to overwrite you have installed in wrong folder)

    4) Install DCI 1.2.5 for MOS 1.25 PATCH.rar exactly as in step 3.

    5) Use the cleaner.bat in the Third_Age_3-folder

    6) You are done, have fun! Please report if you find any problem. Lóriens icons are a known bug and will be looked after.

    OBS! DCI for MOS 1.25 is not compatibel with other submods for MOS [expanded map or roads] or DCI [family tree minimods; which are already in MOS]

    Having the possibility to add angmar rising submod to MOS would be great cause there is additionnal human unit for OOG in MOS too so having them together would be awesome

    Can't speak for the content of that submod [not very informative OP hehe], but any such considerations with greater impact will have to wait till the crew can be gathered to moot ^^

    So,when is Stylix opening his MOS thread?

    People should be aware that new MOS has 12 turns per year now, and family members are more precious and should be kept from danger, as now it takes for children to become mature much longer than before with 4 turns per year( 16 years x 12 turns per year= 192 turns). 192 turns til your family member`s male child gets mature and u are ready to use him for what u need him, or how do u want to develop him. Or, create your own family members by giving command to one of your Captains and let him fight the battles and perhapse earn the HONOUR to become a `family member` of your faction. That`s how I do it.

    Haven't tried actually, but due the amount of scripts and such content I would say no, as I percive the risk of problems when scripts do not kick in correct due to the hot seat mode (might make it better as well, but anyway).
    If anybody has more experience on the matter feel free to concur or reject this assumption.

    It's not recomended to play in hotseat due to MOS massive content, the amount of scripts, as scripts do not work proper in hot seat (not even vanillas to be frank, but it got much fewer so it work better).
    On crashes, well, not heard about it outspoken before no.

    Announce that DCI now exist as a submod to MOS 1.24, as an additional patch so it can be tested out. Initial tests has encountered no problems, so hope you all enjoy some mighty vengeance when the Tôl Acharn counter the Invasions of the Dark Lord

    Oh yes. First we need it to be tested and if there are any 'undocumented features', i.e. bugs then they will have to be addressed. We are also still polishing vanilla MOS and Mike Golf is working as hard as he can to eliminate some problems with the EMM/Roads mod. Once we get everything ready and get HotW's approval it will be merged. AFAIK

    A modders work is never done ...... If you can give me a heads up on any via a pm, Once I get the road ui, and texture issue fix, I will work on integration, In fact I may able to combine my efforts here depending on the additional files changed. I already have the mercenaries and the export_descr_building , already changed over (Numenorian to islam, etc..). Now I just have to remember which folder I stashed them in.

    Hey guys, great job in this new version, i hope you achieve your goals.
    So, i'm not a very good player and i have a hard time playing MOS 1.23 already, so will this new patch make things even more difficult? And what about the expanded map? Sorry but i couldn't retrieve this kind of info by reading the change log.

    v1.24 fixes bugs really, the only thing that might make it harder is that every year now has 12 instead of 3 months, meaning each turn = 1 month instead of 3.
    The + is a much longer campaign and that characters dies of age after much more turns, the - is that children do mature much slower.

    Expanded map = more settlements. Do not make it harder, but not easier - hopefully funnier

    Roads = well, new roads is available to certain factions (included in the map-patch already?)

    DCI = harder if you're evil, easier if you're good Men, as Gondor and Arnor can start counter-invasions of their own

    I played MOS 1.24 the other day with the DCI as Arnor. It went fairly well until I tried to use my diplomat later on in the campaign with Rohan and Isengard. It worked very well previously with Dunland, Dwarves and High Elves. I don't what the issue might be :S
