    Default FOTS How to capture/kill arty?

    Does anyone know how to capture or kill the arty's crew? When first saw the enemy's arty sitting all alone, I rushed 2 of my sabre cavs and thought it was easy kills but I lose more than 30 men because even when routing, the crew still able to fight back?? Oh and the crew only died ( at the same time ) when their gun destroyed.

    When artillery or gatling guns are in horse/transport mode, there is a bug that they have ultra high defense stats, no matter what their morale, fatigue, weather, hill, etc. NEVER engage in melee.

    Shoot them instead, they give tons of EXP, but it will take like 120+ shots to kill each arty "set" of the unit, again, because of the bug.

    Capturing appears to be kind of random. You have to kill the unit to less than 5 or so men, win the battle, and you may capture one of the arty.
