    Default Garrisons

Now that we will recruit whole armies instead of units I wonder how the provinces and regions will be defended. I don't want to waste a full stack aka army sitting at the border, when they could be conquering somewhere else.
Maybe there will be garrisons in the provinces only able to march and fight within that province, or even garrisons for the individual regions. In both cases I'd like to keep it simple. CA could up with up to two slider: One determines the garrison size and the other one the quality of troops. Small, medium, large garrison and low, medium, high quality tropps are enough, maybe just one slider will also be enough. So it's either just the garrison size you can choose or always a full stack of different quality.

    Any thoughts and suggestions?

    You still have individual units.

Having individual units on the battlefield doesn't change the fact that you will be recruiting whole armies and among them legions on the campaign map. If there are whole armies to be recruited how can you have smaller and cheaper garrisons? That is the question.
