Factions

I have a question: Does anyone happen to know which factions will be present in Rome II?

Nothing (that I know of) has been released on the subject. But I guess that Rome and Carthage is confirmed^^

Yes I'm pretty sure a few guys at CA have a very good idea about the factions. All we can do is guess:

Only Rome and Carthage are confirmed. There will be more factions from RTW 1 and we will probably see the all of the factions in RTW 1. Maybe they can change Greek States,Gaul,Germania and Britons :-)

Not sure but a possibility, they said something about Spartan generals not riding on horses so that means that Sparta is possibly a faction, then other Greek city states should also be there.

I think the Greeks will be split into two legues one Athens and Sparta and the other legue Thebes Cornith and Argos since thats what happend according to Wikipedia

The Delian and Peloponesian leagues were defunct by this point. The big dogs in Greece were the Achean and Aetolian leagues.

I know thats why I put Athens and Sparta togther! But I am really excited for the Achean league though
