I bought and installed Shogun fall of the samurai today, it works fine accept a weird texture error, but nothing bad. But to my surprise when entering the Multiplayer world, i discovered I had to "earn" my units, by winning battles. Of course my first reaction was "Why?" than I just sighed and played the game because I found it to be fun. After winning like 2 battles out of 5-6 and really not earning anything except a new castle, and a beautiful pink skirt. Nothing really made me happy. I could not create and customize my own army and look into asking people if they could help me build an army up, but to an avail that I had basically not-so great units. I get my butt-whooped if I don't bring guns. It might be because I'm a new player, but I found it to be an uninviting thing. First, it kinda pulls people away from the multiplayer, especially if they aren't so great at any TW game, and they want to use a Marine army, but since they can't win anything they will never be able to get it. Also, why? Just why would they do this? I mean it gives you something to achieve, but really why?
I'm not trying to seem like a hater, I love the game so far, and plan to build up and become a super star, but all I ask is why did they do this?
