The Blood Pack Again, No I'm Not Finished.

CA, the Blood Pack. Fix it.
We know you've already got your sights set greedily on Rome 2, and are busy rubbing your palms at all the imaginable Legionary DLC ripoffs you can implement, and we also are painfully aware that you completely abandon an old product once a new one is announced (the easily churned out unit skins for Napoleon are just chafe, and a cash cow, nothing more), but have some integrity and fix the Blood Pack which you firmly buggered with the release of FotS.

I was temporarily mollified with Craig's 'We are aware of this issue' reply - until I recall that they've been using this same statement since the Blood Pack was screwed with FotS months ago.

Maybe you're waiting to release the next patch with some other final DLC, or maybe you're not working on S2 anymore at all.
Whatever the case, fix the Blood Pack.

The problem pisses me off to no end as well, and it's rather inexcusable that I'm still playing a game with twirling dead bodies and units, but I don't think your attitude and posts like these are going to help much.

That it bothers you pleases me greatly.
However, in the soup that was your bawww post, you were correct in one thing, and that is I am a customer, as such I expect what is advertised on the day I purchased it, as promsised, not some half-product that may or may not be delivered somewhere down the road.
In regard spinning bodies, I don't get this issue. That you do makes me warm inside.

Did you uninstall/reinstall? When you do that it re-downloads everything together, and for me it solves the blood pack / crazy dead bodies glitch. Now I'm playing with blood pack and no bugs...

So... what am I missing? How else is the blood pack broken? I thought the dead bodies bug was the only issue with the blood pack...

I have not done so just yet. My laziness has thus far trumped my annoyance w/ the dead bodies glitch. Did you uninstall / reinstall S2, RotS, and FotS? And all the DLC?

Seriously, I just played a Custom Battle with the blood effects enabled. They get hit, the spew blood, and they die. Is there anything more to it? I remember that back when FotS was released, the soldiers wouldn't actually get blood on their models. That certainly was more than a bit shite, but it appears to have been fixed now. (Along with the gloss effects.) Is there anything I'm missing here?

Note that I'm not trying to come off as insulting or offensively minded, I'm just genuinely curious.

I don't what else it caused, but when I had the blood pack enabled post FotS patch, a really awful bug would occur.

Basically in large battles with lots of dead bodies, the unit sprites and dead bodies would flicker and rotate wildly. Beast33 has a vid of it in another thread, maybe he can post it here?

Anyway for me this bug was resolved by a full un/re-install. I don't what else is wrong with it at the moment, seems to work for me now, also they reintroduced some of the original S2 graphics (hdr)!

For those people who don't notice, it's no one's responsibility but your own to understand what it was that was advertised and what you purchased. If you failed to notice the issue with a product that is entirely visual based, I wonder; do any of you have an inkling of what's going on around you? Do you notice when your cat pees in your cereal or do you just carry on happily munching away? You paid for a graphic addon that on the Steam and Developer webpage clearly delineates what that add on entails. You're failing to notice what you paid for does not marginalize the issue, but highlights a problem endemic within this industry's consumer base.
