Simply put, I don't know where to install 2.5. I know that it says to install into where the RTW/RTW-BI.exe is, but, being a simpleton, I don't know what or where this is. I thought it was basically the launcher, and so I installed 2.5 into my main RS2 install (so Users/Public/Games/RS2). (Don't worry, I have plenty of clean RS2 installs that I've copied).
It asked me to overwrite everything, and I clicked 'Overwrite all', and it seemed to install without a hitch. The new faction folders and other things all seem to be in the RS2 folder and all seemed well, until I ran the launcher. None of the new factions are there, it says that it's 'RS2.2b', and that the launcher is version 1.2.2. I've read on another thread that another sign that the install was successful is that it's changed to launcher 2.2, so i've done something wrong.
I've probably (hopefully) just missed something obvious.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'll have another crack at it with a bit more info.

ok, so, when I select and try to run a campaign from the launcher, I get the following 3 messages that I'm told to report:
-'You don't have RS2 installed in the correct folder.
C:\Users\Public\Games\RS2 Backup\RS2'
-'Engine:RomeTW-BI.exe, Faction campaign: -mod:play_rome_one_turn'
-'In total: 'RomeTW-BI.exe -mod:play_rome_one_turn -nm -movie_cam'.'
Note that before trying to install RS2.5 RS worked perfectly.
No Idea what's going on, any help is appreciated.
