Mother of all faction polls

I thought a big poll on which factions was long overdue so I decided to make a poll shamelessly using Europa Barbarorum as the basis of the faction list.

So it's simple, which factions would you like to see in this game, would you like to play and simply do belong in. (I probably forgot a few good options but that's what we're here for, to discuss)

Edit: The poll took a while to make ;-)

Anyways let's say you can choose 5 options I choose a mix of obvious factions that will definitely be there and factions I personally would like to play (against)

Sorry, i voted more than 5 factions. But i think we should vote for many more since 5 are only Rome, Carthage, Macedonia, Ptolemaioi, Seleucides.

No prob, ;-) As long as people can keep themselves from voting 30 times or so. it should still give us a nice indication on what people want.

5 isn't enough to choose from at all given the huge scope of the game, i'm willing to bet that any faction of note during the Roman period will be included anyway; assuming of course that they lie within the campaign map.

I know but a poll where anyone can fill in 20 options won't give be very useful I guess.

hmmm I probably should have left the 'select multiple answers' option off. But I figured that anyone would just vote for Rome (because, you know the name and stuff). But I'm more interested how people feel about the Syraceuses and Armenia's of the ancient world.

Anyway, pretty ok results so far I guess. I'm glad I'm not the only one who wants to see a Bactrian faction (I hope even playable, perhaps with DLC) But I'm a bit surprised about Scythia getting more votes then sarmatia. I'm pretty sure that the scytians where more or less subdured by Sarmatian tribes when the game will probably start?
