it is a bit like google maps route planer for ancient rome
according to this site even a regular army could march from rome to the border of the empire in less then four month.
so with the current system of 4 turns per year armies realistically would move very far in one turn without a chance to intercept them.
so there are two solutions i can think of:
1st make a large zone of control
2nd make shorter turn times
in my opinion 1 turn per week would suit best but the game would progress slow.
so 1 turn per month with slightly reduced movement and larger zones of control would be a good compromise.
i do not mind if there are units in the game which are not realistic but the slow movement on the campaign map is a bit of a game breaker for me
