''Unspecified error'' Specified

Hello Total War mates...!!!!

After a lot of search I found the cause of this bug. This error appears because the game fails to load some military units to the battle map such as ''Macemen mercenary units''. Whenever I try to use this type of unit I get a CTD ...and when I remove this from my army....The battle map loads regularly.

.......I havent found any other unit so far to cause this problem...so whoever has this problem ...I suggest to report here what units he used before the CTD.

Now I would like to ask how can I remove the ''Macemen units '' out of the game generally....???

Welcome to SS and sorry to hear of your problems

I can 100% assure you that Macemen are not your problem, I have them in my armies, with no CTD's.

When you installed SS did you disable your UAC?

Hello Navajo....I use Windows XP not 7 or vista..... I have reinstalled the game so many times before I conclude that macemen are the problem.... The game works perfect without them....and when I try to use them I ve CTD.... I dont know why my pc cant load them to the battle map....

What version of SS are you using?
What sub mods have you installed?
Have you made any amendments?
Did you you install MTW2 Patch 1.5?

Navajoooooo thanx a lot you are a real chief.

...Finally the submod that I had installed was responsible for the CTD...This submod I used.... was making a conflict with the SS mod....... I have uninstalled it and the game works perfect and loads macemen to the battle map regurarly

......with no CTDs...!!!!
