2v2 Matchmaking Best times to Play

Hey guys,
I've been having a lot of trouble finding a match in 2v2 matchmade. Is there a best time of day? Just wondering if its common or not.

I play Fots and I'm in General Mountain Standard time zone.

It should not take long at all. Make sure you have both merge teams and mixed avatars checked. If after 3-5 minutes you have still not found a match both you and your ally should restart your game because you prolly got some kind of bug/stuck in some kind of loop and restarting should fix that in the rare instances that happens.

Merge teams and mixed avatars. I really didn't want to play mixed avatars but if it makes it work then oki!

I'm pretty sure if you have merged teams on and there are no other 2v2 teams available it will attempt to merge 2 other players searching 1v1, who have merge teams on as well, together to play you. And, if you and your friend get merged with another player or two to fight a group of 3 or 4 who were searching 3v3 or 4v4 mm... well then it's a lot of fun ruining there dreams with just you and your ally doing all the work with a (usually new) teammate just sitting there doing nothing. They will usually get very mad because they waited 5+ minutes to find a 3v3 or 4v4 and then they get beaten by just 2 players with minor help from there new player ally/allies. It's quite fun haha and if you lose it's no big deal because you will never be paired with that random person again and thus you don't care about this teams leaderboard record but you have the chance to break a 3v3 or 4v4 teams (probably near perfect) record and brake there hearts :-D

As far as mixed avatars there is no reason not to have it turned on unless you are using Vanilla S2 and only want to fight other vanilla S2. I'm also pretty sure the search gets bugged a lot more often if you don't have this turned on. Usually it will pair you will other fots players and it will help you find opponents much quicker so just turn it on is my advice.

Merged teams option is just for your own team, it means it can merge a smaller team into a larger game so if theres a 3v3 you may be queued in that as a 2v2 team. So if you want to play a 2v2 do not click merge.

The best time to play is between 6pm and 1am GMT because europeans, americans and asians will all be on during these hours.

You can do the GMT to mountain time conversion yourself

Just so everyone knows it was the fact that I was unchecking the mixed avatar button. Im finding matches easily now
