    Default Installation Help...

    Hi all,

I have downloaded the two 7zip parts to RSII.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit, running a copy of RTW with RS 1.6 installed and it's not a Steam copy.

I can't seem to open the second 7zip file, is this meant to happen?
I can open the first one and have extracted the contained folder to my desktop, and it has loads of files in there such as Play as xx faction and various icons and installers.

What do I do from here? the instructions don't make sense to me.

    Thank you.

    Hello.

The two .7z files are supposed to be extracted together. Just select them both at the same time, and unzip them.

Once you've got all your files, simply copy them all, and paste them on your waiting RTW folder.
Merge folders and overwrite files, and it should be alright.

However, I see that you are talking about RS 1.6.
RSII is not a patch for RS1.6, it's a different mod, so don't install it over RS 1.6.
You'll need a clean copy of RTW.

Thanks Paedric, very helpful of you.

I've got the launcher working but I press play and the following error pops up...

Script Error in data/descr_battle_map_lighting_and_fog_control.txt at line 9 column 1.

    Expecting reading 'min_light_intensity'

    Any ideas?

Start over again, with a fresh RTW patches to 1.5 file.... THat error looks like a file was altered from the previous RS install

Move your RTW folder out of the program files, and reapply the install.
    It should do the trick.
