    Default Ending the 2nd Rebellion?

Finally after capturing 92 settlements the rebellion triggered and I had to contend with a massive rebellion, I've finally quelled it to some degree. How do I officially end it? Because all of my generals and governors went to 0 traits and its making quite frustrating to actually play the game because I have civil unrest everywhere.

Okay, so I believe what needs to happen is the FL needs to receive the "Dictator for life" trait. However, once he receives this there is a 'hidden' trait attached which triggers the rebellion again sometime after youre up to 85 settlements again--if he is still alive. If you reach 85 settlements or more again and he's still alive you could risk getting a third rebellion and so on. So basically he needs to die before that and his heir will recieve the title and trait "Imperator Caesar" essentially ending the rebellion and any future upstarts.

If you want some ideas pop your FL in a boat and send him pirate hunting? I always like crashing into a greek fleet with just a bireme and hear the agonizing screams of the crew as they all perish
No but seriously, I hope it works out. Happy campaigning

Well, I got the First Civil War and just a few turns ago the Second, I now have the Emperor. Does that mean I am entirely done with the rebellion? I really haven't played this far in.

Did you load the script? Even when loading another game save, exit completely out of it to desktop. I have never heard of 0 traits.

Maybe he had in mind not 0 traits, but 0 management, 0 influence, 0 command, 0 loyalty... It happens with my family memebers/governos (they loose their skills and loyalty) when struggling in civil war.

    Yeah, I don't think that's smart.
I did the exact same thing and got up to the 7th rebellion before I quit.
Leave every single governor that does this in the city, and bring a legion close by to be sure to retake it once it rebels.

As far as I've understood it, the governors who does this gets a hidden trait. So technically they are infected with this trait, and as far as I've been able to tell from it, the governors going into the settlement which he left, will also get this hidden trait. So best to just leave him be in the city, let it revolt and then beat him up for turning on you.

Ahh, I think I'm beginning to understand what you are seeing - and recall what has been said before.

All the Governors (not 'Generals') that exhibit this behaviour are going to rebel - whatever you do. So leave them in the settlements and let them.

What if u happen to have an unarmored Trireme near by and a pirate fleet in sight - What effect would that have?

Well you could punish those disloyal beasts! How dare they take up arms against the Republic

Not, but seriously I think you will have to be doing that anytime you leave governors in those settlements because there is a hidden city trait that will make whatever governor a rebel. I don't know if the once FL gets Imperator Caesar it's fixed. It should work in theory.

Clearly something that needs to be fixed.
Problem is the lack of time like I used to have for modding, but I'll try and figure a way of preventing this from happening....but yes, as far as I remember from coding it, these are governors that are rebellious (the have a GeneralRebels trait) and basically need to die.
