    Default Vassals?

I've never mady any faction into a vassal. I understand that vassals are sort of subjects to your authority with limited indepence, but what does becoming a vassal actually mean and what happens if YOU agree to become someone's vassal?

On a side note, the Almohads (Moors) just made the Papal States their vassal, which is IMO quite hilarious (or stupid...)

if you make someone your vassal you get half their income as tribute every turn. All thier territories count toward your total territory count. You have, of course, all alliance privledges.
The opposite is true if you become someones vassal.

This should go under a more general discussion, i think, unless the SS developers have changed how vassalage works, which if it isnt done, should be added in 7.0, here is a topic on vassalage btw http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=495295

You'll get the remaining bit of their income, at the end of their turn, so what they don't use, you'll recieve as tribute,
    so it will vary.
