Hmm, there is a problem with the Twilight Faction.Since i had not seen them appear yet, i turned off Fog of War to check on them.a stack on their units was in front of a rebel, as if it had gotten stuck. AT turn 100(I had conquered all of the game world, except Lizalfos by then) i looked back there, and the unit was still stuck there in front of the rebels, not doing anything...the Twiling hadnt tried to kill it, or do anything at all really.
Am starting to belive it was becose it got attack by npc at the end of there phase, i got the file but where do you want it uploaded? on other note the mirror duplicate itself and sometime to not teleport the unit from a field to the next.
well, i came up with a solution to get the twililight(AI) in =to the game. I simply gave the Arbiter grounds to the Twilight thru file modding. The Twili are indeed using the gates, going back and forth, and functioning quite well![]()
2 questions about the Forces of Twilight.
A. Why are all the bonemold monks women? They are decedents of Shiekah not gerudo.
B. Why are all of the generals but zant women? It seems weird to be that they would only hire female generals.
I would assume it's a reflection of how strongly matriarchal the Hylians are. I'm not really a lore expert on the Twili, but if I understand correctly, they effectively originated as Hylians who were cast out and banished the the Realm of Twilight. Seeing as how Hyrule has far more Princesses than Kings, and many of the unit models (I'm thinking of pretty much any of their units who don't wear plate armor) seem to be dominated by females, it makes a certain amount of sense. They are a dark reflection of Hyrule. Or something.
Says the guy who doesn't know anything about what he's talking about and only guessing from what he thinks he remembers he read.

XD nice pun! Undyingnephiliam once posted a list on a long dead thread saying weather each faction if patrich or matchach, he said that the forces of Twilight themselves are patraich (although not as strictly as medieval races in real life were) and the Hylians are pretty much equal rights to both genders. Some of the Hylian units are 100% men while others are pretty much suppose to be 50% 50% gender I do believe.
Again as I said in my comment above the Bonemold monks are decedents of the Shiekah, not the Hylians, the rest of the forces of twili are decedents of Hylians, gerudo (Gerudo influences certainty would help them to be female dominated), and a small amount of other humanoid races such as Ordonians and Labrynnians. (I assume at least).
Now about them being a dark reflection of the Hylians, remember that all the Hylian generals are men (minus Zelda) also im pretty sure they do have a line of kings but we only get to use the princess zeldas.
Well put. I just learned things!![]()
Any reason that the twilight cannons do literally next to no damage to buildings? I spent the entire cannon, and it did about 6% damage to the gate. Wat.
Sol cannons are intended for use versus Infantry.
Sorry for my english, I try to do my best
Much to my surprise and dismay, I might add. You can imagine my reaction when they're the only siege equipment I bothered with, in the hopes of blasting a hole in the wall instead of trying to get towers to the wall or rams to the gate.
Strangely almost the same thing happened with the Gerudo catapults, 1 catapult spent all but 2 volleys left trying to break 1 gate
At least the Gerudo catapults can break one gate, the Lizalfos catapults are hilariously useless.
But it is true, a siege unit unless it is ballista or similar weapon should definitely get a damage boost versus buildings. I guess having certain units for buildings and infantry was a way to make the siege weapons less formidable.
I don't care if a piece of siege equipment is suppose to be used against infantry, it is called siege equipment and it should be able to break walls, (the sol cannon shoots out sols which explode and hit with tremendous power) The gerudo catapult is a catapult. Catapults are powerful enough to break walls so that is probably a balancing issue.
Imagine the sol cannon more like a mortar than a straight cannon.
Playing as the Twili I noticed that a lot of there popups and such are missing text they just say don't translate. Also I came up a possible idea to better reflect the Midna VS Zant crisis they have. Perhaps as the start of a Twili campaign you get an event to support either Midna or Zant. If you pick Midna you change from Majora worship to Goddesses Acknowledgement, if you pick Zant you stay Majora.
It could also affect which settlements you start with. Zant or Midna would get the main castle where the mirror portal is buildable.
And the other choice would give you some small settlement(s) on the left of the land. That way it'll be as if you're crushing rebels or retaking the castle.
I see that Twili can't upgrade cities. This greatly restricts the tech trees of cities you capture. I suppose it makes sense that they aren't good at building in the light world, but they should at least be able to expand their cities in the twilight realm. Else if you don't want hamlet-level cities, you just have to wait for the enemy to build it up before capturing it.
