Spontaneous quick load

Ok so when I'm on the campaign map, if my laptop plug falls out, the game spontaneously loads the last saved game, and turns off settlement name plates and turns on the character name plates. If this happens during a battle, the camera shifts and the games speed either shifts to six or pauses, which is somewhat less annoying. It does the same thing when I plug it back in too.
Unfortunately my plug tends to come out frequently, so this is rather an annoying problem. Just wondering if anyone knows how to keep the game from reacting this way.

The plug is the problem, not the game. It sounds like time to buy a replacement plug.
