No what the hell are you talking about "then u need to conquer all microregion to get to be able to control the territory". Obviously not what they are doing.
And then this, "the whole region is the only way to be able to start recruiting units after all rebellions are domiinated". "to coqnuer a whoole region oou will need to conquer al microregion and capital city and too rise tropps in the region you need to conquer also the capital if you are owner or to conquer everything if yoou are invader ..."
No sense at all, This sounds like an even worse system than empire tw.
And for god sakes, go get a new keyboard.

I liked Empire's region system with one conquerable city and surrounding towns that can be pillaged or garrisoned.
If I recall correctly, enemy armies can attack or garrison towns to deny their use to the enemy. This seemed to be an abstract form of micro-conquest, without having to take over the entire region. It was a bit of a backwards move in Shogun2 where you can only raid a province's assets, which was basically the same as a ninja's building sabotage.
Perhaps a refinement would be to have every town act like a fort, and armies have to besiege it to gain control. Much easier than cities, and when controlled would deny specific resources (or even take that resoruce for yourself). The only way to gain control of all towns would be to conquer the city, unless you want to beisege every single town, which would bring an overall smaller bonus than if the city itself (and thus the region) was taken.
Taking over a city will convert all ungarrisoned towns to your control. If the original owners had armies in their towns, they retain control over them, just a vice-versa effect. Leaving a small number (or even just one) unit in the town will maintain control, but of course will be much easier to besiege by enemy forces.
At least this way provinces won't just change hands once a single city in a large region is conquered, as factions can maintain control over portions of it like what they did in real life. A city besieged would have a hard time maintaining control of surrounding countryside and towns.
Rome can be subdivided into Etruscans in the north, sabines in the East, Latins in the west and Samnites in the south. how would your system work if say, Hannibal Invaded.

A 3 year old idea that isn't really like their idea.
Son they should give you some money.
Should have put a patent on it.
The CA does not know who you are or what your ideas are.

I think this whole thread is pretty foolish.
I check into small hotel a few kilometers from Kiev. It is late. I am tired. I tell woman at desk I want a room. She tells me room number and give key. "But one more thing comrade; there is one room without number and always lock. Don't even peek in there." I take key and go to room to sleep. Night comes and I hear trickling of water. It comes from the room across. I cannot sleep so I open door. It is coming from room with no number. I pound on door. No response. I look in keyhole. I see nothing except red. Water still trickling. I go down to front desk to complain. "By the way who is in that room?" She look at me and begin to tell story. There was woman in there. Murdered by her husband. Skin all white, except her eyes, which were red. I tell her I don't give a. Stop the water trickling or give me refund. She gave me 100 ruble credit and free breakfast. Such is life in Moscow
All hail Prometheus.
hehe,welcome to democracy !
Anyway, good thing they used your idea
Honestly, credit is due here. All of you flamers need to just appreciate that we have some intelligent players and mod developers that are actively involved in making all you complainers out there happy with the mods they create. If you honestly want to go flame, go somewhere else. OR, think of something better to do with your time. I for one am quite proud that Prometheus ts came up with an idea that is actually being implemented in this game (or at least close enough to their system).
Good job Prometheus, maybe they took your idea and ran with it, or maybe they came up with it themselves, but since you show evidence that you had a similar idea, kudos to you. And hey, if they did use your idea and will never admit it, you can still brag about it. I mean why not? lol = )
As for you disrespectful flamers who show no appreciation to those who work hard to make you happy, tisk, tisk. Be thankful. Otherwise, piss off and grow up you ungrateful (I'll bite my tongue).
Those are my two cents.

oh god, wrong thread. noooo.
And how come you are so sure that they don't watch over our discussions ?The CA does not know who you are or what your ideas are.
If you have read the interview with Mike Simpson you would notice that he often said : " The fans want " or " the fans suggest", so they are preaty much following us.
I am glad that they are watching over our conversations :
+ rep Prometheus !

lol to read all the stuff on the forums theyd probably have to hire 2 guys reading all day.. at best they pop in once in a while to scroll the forums for an hour or so.. leave a few messages and are gone for a while.. theyre really not going to read all the threads on this forum
Take it as a compliment Prom. Maybe you as an individual has actually given CA a really good idea, no more one-siege-and-a-province/region-is-yours would be a step forward for the TW-series. I remember how game breaking the region system was in Empire where France was one super-big region that you could take in one turn and pretty much destroy France.

Actually I think you'd find CA picked up my idea
I quite like your idea!
no offense intended, but I think it was just the natural evolution of the series. Any idea we've debated in these forums has likely already been thought of in some fashion along the way and ruled out for whatever reasons, or is waiting for technology to catch up to imagination.
