    Default Long turns

Hey im running the latest 2.4.2 version.
Im quite new to the long road.
Is it just my computer being slow or is it part of the game, in that, as years go on, AI turns take longer?
It takes 30-45 seconds for me to get my turn again after i click end turn.
Is this happening for anyone else?

    hey huey,

Unfortunately it is quite normal tbh the problem excists in alot of mods. The main reason is basic game mechanics and allocation, mods such as tlr have increased the amount of factions and settlements, added a number of characters and greatly increased the size of the game map, aswell as scripts inc traits, ancils, events and increased campaign ai params. You may even notice at times a faction may take longer during there turn for one reason or the other but its usually because the game mechanics is working on a decision (should i attack or make alliances etc) if your ever in a situation where only a few factions remain in a campaign then you would prob experience a quicker turn end

I cant however totally blame the game mechanics, 2.4.2 will be worked on further and i hope that as errors and redundant entries are removed a smoother game and turn ends can be achieved. Also pls let me know if you experience a crash during the independents turn, it is a known issue and one i was hoping was corrected

The turn time is just an issue, as Keogh said, in most large mods, but the mod is waaay worth the extra turn times (imho). As to the Indi crash, I have played up to turn 70 and not one crash yet (touch wood), so maybe that little gremlin is finally dead!!! (if so, tonnes of kudos to you as that has been a bug since 1.0, yes I have played TLR for that long)
