Roma surrectum error

Hey all

So I've been trying to get this mod to work for 3-4 days about 3 hours a day and I have tried all the installation methods for steam and no luck every time I think I've got it working it crashes and says something about a missing skeleton elephant javelin thrower if anyone has got any suggests on what I could do or more helpfully if someone could more preferably one of the mod creators could go on teamviewer and show me if I'm doing anything wrong.
Also I'm just considering buying the disc version instead of all the hassle.

The "Unable to find skeleton ' fs-s1-forest.elephant.javelinrider.' is stated in the know issues.
Simply install RS 2 to a empty folder on your desktop and then cut or drag all the files inside the folder to your steam RTW or steam Alex folder.

I have a feeling you're installing it directly to your RTW or Alex file.

Yeah, I tried all the methods they told me in the Technical thread and none of it helps or works in the end. I wish I could play this mod but the only way too play it is too buy another version of Rome Total War.

I'm sure theirs a way for it too work but somebody from Steam who installed it correctly should help out fellow steam members yes?

I use steam and it worked just fine for me.

It's for Steam, but the latter part of the installation (once it begins to talk about the installation files) is the same for Steam and non Steam.
