I've been reading through all these threads of late stating they wouldn't mind this nor that with a bit of this mixed in. I was also reading a thread or two about how they would and if they would port the Shogun2 veterancy across into RTWII, thinking about this made me wonder if there is possibly an easy way to track the veterancy of units/armies.
In the past i've always been more focused on the singleplayer version within Total War rather than the multiplayer side, and i felt that in Shogun 2 the singleplayer version was left rather neglected and less refined than the multi side. And so i was wondering if in singleplayer there could be a way of keeping track of not just units veteran status in singleplayer and multiplayer but if these could someho be combined into a different train of thought.
So i thought why not integrate battle statistics which would be under a different tab or a tab namely called 'Veterancy' which would show a units statistics for use of a better word. These statistics could include certain things like 'enemy soldiers killed' or 'battles participated in' and possibly even 'brothers lost' etc etc.
This way you would be able to have a more personal touch to your soldiers and maybe even take care of the poor sods better haha.
This wasn't just an irriational thought eitehr as the Roman army required these veterans, Hastati - Triarii in veterancy level as they were.
I just wanted to know the communities thoughts/suggestions on this idea
