    Default trying something new?

Hi everybody, ive have been playing some both early and late game on ss 6.3 and 6.4 as the Ottomans, the spanish and the Roman empire. Im playing at H/H with the Gracul Ai. I need some tips for a very funny and a bit challening campaign, which nation for example?

And which are better to raise, the campaign difficulty or the battle difficulty? I dont wanna have like an insane boost ai army that routs my army just by looking at it =)

Well the Khwarezmians in the late era could be quite challenging and a bit different... haven't played them, but dealing with the Mongolian invasion right on is definetely a challenge. Norway could be interesting too, with the cramped up starting position,

On the other question, I think H/H is enough... I personally don't like VH on either difficulties. On campaign VH spams unrealistic amounts of military and your standings/reputation just drop for pretty much no reason. On battlefield, VH mainly boosts AI morale, which is also a feature I don't like that much. Hard/Hard is balanced challenge for me.

Campaign AI doesn't affect your reputation.

I have not played with lower than VH/VH in living memory and have never had my army rout due to any insane boost the ai gets. VH plays about right, If the ai has overwhelming force and you have lost loads of men you might rout.
