Default City View and Living Cities

I ran across an awesome video on youtube and I started to think about a feature we use to have in RTW "city view". I'm sure most of you remember this feature but if not it was a feature that allowed you to zoom in on a city and check out the progress of the building you built and you would see citizens walking in around in the streets.

I think it would be neat to zoom in on a city you built up and see gladiators fighting in an arena or chariot races in a new circus maximus you just constructed.

As cool as that is, I can imagine CA see that as more a 'gimmick' rather than a integral part of the game.
    Still pretty f-ing cool though!

I really really really hope they bring it back.
Otherwise I'll never get to see Roma in all it's glory.

I hope so too. City view was an awesome feature in those days when I played RTW for the first time.
Seeing how life in roman cities went on or buildings in their detailness were build makes this game even more beautiful.
However i havent heard anything about CA's plans to imply this feature.. anyone else?

If I don't see the Seven Hills, I'm going to throw a wobbler!

Being able to click a citizen to find out what they think could provide huge amount of details - possible revolts, etc

Why not incorporate Caesar III into RTW 2? I mean, it's only like...600 mb. That game is a classic.
