Terry Charged. What a coincidence, day of the opening ceremony! I'm sure his personal hearing won't coincide with Usain Bolt's race either, nooooo, not at all.

If John Terry gets banned, I can see there being a long drawn out legal challenge.
Personally the FA should just drop it, why waste millions of pounds fighting in the courts just so they can make a point that they're fighting against waacism. Why not put the money in their failed 'kick it out' program instead.

Or they can ban him for using offensive language at another player with reference to skin colour.

Y'know, like they managed to with Suarez.

I understand liverpool fans are angry still about Suarez and want to see Terry get the same treatment.

But Terry has been cleared in a criminal court, therefore no offence has been committed.

How the FA can charge him is beyond belief.
Most people just want this thing forgotten about.
Dragging this into the new season isn't a good idea, we even have the crazy statement saying he is free to play for england.

what does that say about the fa.
they're charging him with a racial offence but are allowing him to continue to play for england

£18m you bid for Carroll, must have some cash to spend pal.

Just hope you spend it well and keep your head above water, football can't afford another Portsmouth.

well I am sure that you may have seen our new stadium last night (big thanks to all the Chelski, Le Arse fans etc., who contributed for us) and if nothing else the Daves are not stupid with their money
hey know they need to be in the big league - if Carroll comes, and a big if, would be a good coup, and we will simply be spending some of next years Sky money at worst (though there are rumours of an outside 3rd party investor, and this is the last year of the Tevez payment I believe as well, glad it did Scumfield Utd so much good).

Still a few more to come in yet as well

I did love the rendition of I'm forever blowing bubbles in last nights ceremony, bet old Hearn nearly choked

Collymore won't care, nor will Carlisle, Taylor or Piara 'Coconut' Powar since there's no headline for the latter and the former lot can't be seen acting against England's indomitable John Terry.

A court of law acts on different principles to the FA's Kangeroo court, and they do have a 99.5% conviction rate. So I assume the charge will end in a punishment.

They've set the precedent, they have to enforce it now.

As for the football, was good to see Kyle Runner in action against us today. Really missed how quick he was, his pace was lovely to watch. He's so fast! Unfortunately he's still brainless with no quality on the ball.

Shelvey continued to impress though, for us. Raheem put in a wonderfully mature performance too; he didn't really threaten with the ball but his movement & the threat of his pace meant that - mentally - his marker was on the rack.

They didn't flood Brum with loads of cash tbh.
Suppose this is Gold's home town club, or so he likes to tell us
Last season all 3 sides stayed up for the first time in years, don't think it'll happen this time around, but believe happy ammers can just about do it.

I totally forgot about blowing bubbles till you mention it, was really good, i have to say.

who would though, you can't polish a turd

I think with our own pie eating Northerner in charge, and a couple more additions we should survive

agreed, a Claret and Blue lightshow would have been good as well

Jack Wilshere is a West Ham fan!
Posted on January 15, 2011 by admin
The newest Arsenal youngster to come through the ranks to be a star at the Emirates is our very own Jack Wilshere, but he admitted today that he grew up as a West Ham fan and his boyhood hero was the great Italian Paolo Di Canio.
He said: “My family have always been West Ham fans, so growing up I used to go and watch them and so I was a West Ham supporter. I remember my first game was against Coventry, in 2000, Di Canio scored a hat trick and they won 5-0 so I enjoyed it.
“I used to look up to him for some of the goals he scored. My favourite goal of his was a volley against Wimbledon.
“The fans at Upton Park are great. They are bottom of the league yet they fill it every week and it’s nice to go and play there because there’s always singing. It’s loud and that’s what you want as a footballer

What goes around comes around. Bale claims he's injured for Team GB, Adam slugs him.

If Gareth Bale is injured he should not be playing. If he got injured by Adam's tackle then he should retire.
