Hi Everyone!
I was playing the Rome: Total War demo today, and the game looks awesome, and I want to buy it. However, the only thing stopping me is the mouse lag/delay/acceleration (basically when I move the mouse from A to B, there is a delay until the cursor actually moves). The Game itself is very smooth, and so is the camera scrolling, etc.
I have no problems with other strategy games, if that matters. My specs are:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel Core i5-480m @ 2.67 GHz
Intel HD GMA Graphics
4GB DDR3 RAM
I know integrated Intel graphics are not super duper and stuff like that, but it a actually plays a lot of my games pretty well, including Rome: Total War. It's just the mouse lag that really annoys me. By the way, I have a Logitech m310 Wireless mouse with a 2.4 GHz connection, and I don't think I need to get a new wired mouse because my regular mouse usage (on the internet, desktop, etc.) is really smooth and fluid and accurate, and many of my games are good with the mouse too. I don't know how to disable vertical sync in the Rome: Total War options, and my graphics control panel doesn't even have the option to turn it off. All anti-aliasing is off.
Please help! I appreciate it! Thanks a lot!
