    Default Parlay and Capitols

One thing I've always wanted in these games in the ability to Parlay, some times be able to talk to your opposition before he attacks. Just be like What I do to you man why you got your whole army all up in my country dog. And I want taking a Capitol to mean something, The enemy might be more inclined to your request if you took the capitol or took out allot of there senior leadership. You know, little things that wouldn't be to hard to implement.

Good idea although in case something like this would be implemented - it would be overdone
and turn the whole thing into the wrong direction - like endless negotiations before every single
battles or people exploiting the feature as always.

I would really like to be able to intimidate factions, especially with a high renown or military presence near their lands. One of my biggest gripes with Total War games (even though this has been improved in FotS) was that factions wouldn't really care how strong you were, or how weak they were, if you attempted peace terms. After you went to war with them, you would have to destroy the entire faction, or else you would never have peace (at least without paying them an exorbitant amount of money despite having destroyed their entire capacity for war).

I'd love for better diplomacy to be in RII, in particular the emergence of more personal relations between principalities, as was more common (think Julius Caesar and Cleopatra ). If a leader of one country appreciates Roman culture, for example, they should be more willing for trade agreements, military access, or becoming a client kingdom. If their heir is anti-Roman, this should quickly change with succession, to the extent of having these treaties nullified.
If you rep me, leave your name. I'll look more kindly on your future transgressions.
