How come nobody talks about Seven Wonders of the Ancient World?
Will they be in Rome 2 and will they have some significance like in the first game, what do you think?

I think it would be great if the wonders in the game are destroyable.
So image having a sea battle like the invasion of Carthage in the screenshot but at Rhodes with the Colossus there. There are units laying siege on land and ships blockading the port and there's catapults firing in all directions, it would be great then to see the Colossus get hit and crumble or come crashing to the ground, crushing any poor soul that is unlucky to be standing there or fall in to the sea, creating massive waves and crushing ships. It would also be great to this have a detriment effect on some of the soldiers defending the city, preferably on the lower rate ones such the levies and militia; the more elite one should only be slightly phased and even some elites units should be more inspired to kill the attackers.
This event should have a more rousing effect on the attackers, raising their moral by quite a bit.
They were in the first rome, not sure about babylon, i think it was in alexander? Would be good to seem them again!
I hope the Wonders are on the map! I think they are a great addition in Rome. I mean, it kinda makes the lands more important to conquer!
I'd love to see the wonders making an appearence in R2. Their existence and the bonuses they provide make up for great strategical regions to capture. A small feature that would greatly improve gameplay.
You could have an option to construct them yourself and/or new ones.
Eats, shoots, and leaves.
Yes they should be in the game, but the bonuses from them shouldn't be too good. Unless the bonuses only apply to the region.
I think the seven wonders should be in Rome 2 as well. And I would like them portrayed exactly as they were in Rome 1. Monuments outside of cities that can't be built or destroyed but are part of the region and when you take them they grant faction-wide bonuses. Keeping the videos for the wonders and putting them in Rome 2 would be good too. And yes they make for great strategic decisions and since the new map will go more to the east, the wonders will be in a more central location than they were in Rome 1.
In case anyone here doesn't know, the bonuses for the seven wonders in Rome 1 are: Statue of Zeus-public order happiness in all cities. Temple of Artemis-reduced money cost for constructing religious buildings in all cities. Collosus of Rhodes-increased sea trade income for all coastal cities. Pharos Lighthouse-all your ships can travel further and are less likely to be hit by storms. The Pyramids-no cultural penalty in Egyptian cities you rule. Mausoleum of Halicarnassus-reduces construction time for buildings that take more than 5 turns in all cities. The Hanging Gardens-increased farming income in all cities.

There should be a lot more than 7 unique structures. Insert remark about Europa Barbarorum here. There were plenty of unique wonders deserving of recognition, and a nice info card would help give Americans the much needed chance to read text and learn something that they deserve.
"Rajadharma! The Duty of Kings. Know you: Kingship is a Trust. The King is the most exalted and conscientious servant of the people."
Yeah loved this feature and the videos were great.
Behold the epicness!
