Is anyone else going to destroy Rome at the first opportunity they get?

I fully intend on shipping a huge army of pikemen and cataphracts from Antioch to Rome and destroying the Romans at the first possible opportunity as the Seleucids. Apart from me just hating the Romans, I also think it would make the western half of the map more interesting than the usual Roman stomp-fest.

Nine out of ten people is still enough to kick your ass in a counterattack if commanded well. Carthage had some pretty good commanders back then.

I usually don't attack a faction or I do that rarely.

In stead of that I build up my empire and wait for someone to attack and after that they are doomed.

Since I will probably be playing as the Illyrians or Epirus if they are going to be playable and Rome will probably look to exapand into my land. I will make sure that doesn't happen.

Also, I am not a hater of Rome. I will play as them to, but later.

Naturally, I will build my own Celtic, Germanic or Greek empire first and wait until the Romans are very strong before I pummel them into the ground. Anything else just is not cricket old been.

Equally, I’ll play as the Romans at some point and conquer everyone else too.

I would prefer it if it were nearly impossible to beat the Romans, otherwise we would be fighting some other impostors!
