[Valyrian Event] The Requiem of the Rhoynar

For years now the Valyrian Freehold has pressed against the city-states of the Rhoynar, a great riverine people living along the vast network of the Rhoyne River. Despite their economic strength, advanced culture and proficiency in archery, the Rhoynar to date have not been able to stem the Valyrian tide, and by now they have been reduced to a few holdouts in the northeast and along the Rhoyne delta. Garin the Great, among the greatest of the surviving Rhoynar leaders, has convinced his fellow Rhoynar princes and princesses to support him in making a desperate stand against the power of Valyria near the Rhoyne Delta. To this end, he and his allies have been able to mobilize a host numbering a quarter of a million, from boys just entering adolescence to strong men in their prime to the elderly who can still swing a sword or fire a bow; the Rhoynar understand this to be a fight for their very survival, and are throwing everything they still have into the coming battle.

All Valyrian dragon-riders and major lords have been summoned to a Great Council in Volantis to coordinate efforts against the Rhoynar.

I do not mind joining in thsi for some rp but it and it is 2:30 am here.

Fifteen ships of the Lyseni Armada, led by the Phoenix, a 250 oar, triple decked war galley designed with a heavy ram designed to look like a falcon, but a entire deck with ballistae to fire at the enemy from above the oars, granting it immense firepower in combat. Aboard the ships are several members of House Caliuem, notably Archon Otherys and two of his sisters. The Princess of Lys flies overhead on her dragon, circling the fleet until it arrived at Volantis, upon which she takes the dragon to her cousin's manse and leaves him there with their 30 year old ruby-scaled dragon as she goes to the meeting. Archon Otherys and everyone from the ships, vassals of Lys and Tyrosh and their retinues ride through the streets towards the Black Wall of Volantis, and beyond it to the Great Council. Several members of House Caliuem's two other branches, of Volantis and of Valyria have arrived with their vassals, retinue, and dragons as well, the dragons being kept at the Volantene branch's manse for the duration of the meeting.

OOC : I meant troop divisions like pikemen, archers, etc. Unless I can do that myself.:p

A small detachment of fifteen ships from the Glistening Armada of Pentos headed into the Volantis. Upon the leading vessel, Jörmungandr, where the bow was shaped into a large sea dragon stood Aerion, Prince of Pentos and head of House Telvaren. The Silver Swords, his elite bodyguard, led by Captain Aegor readied themselves for the landing in the harbor. Various nobles from Myr and Pentos arrived with the Prince. His brother, Haegon, was left behind to muster their troops and navy for the fight to come. Aerion noticed the neighboring House Calieum. It was good to see them here among other Valyrian families. Once they had docked, Aerion disembarked with his entourage of personal guards and advisers from Myr and Pentos.
