Confirmed fixed for the next version:
- Portraits for generals
- Images for buildings
- Death Animations for Kokiri and Gohma (not sure if I'll get around to Deku before the next release)
- Upgrading towns should work properly now
- Heroes should always get their battle models in the campaign now.
- Gerudo and Ordona Catapults no longer cause CTD
- Families are removed from the game, so family status no longer matters
- Powder Keg Damage and accuracy vs buildings drastically increased
- Starting Generals should no longer betray after only 1 turn.
- Farms and Mines should give the correct resource bonuses now
- Adoption removed entirely
- Labrynna Cannons are more accurate
- Wizzrobe Icon shows up in campaign now
- Textures for merc generals works now
- Armour Buildings (such as Leather Tanners) are prerequisites to upgrade a barracks.
- Flags for event factions (such as Twili) should be fixed
- Armogohma do damage to walls now.
For the Lizalfos, is it every Lizalfos or a specific unit in particular that has bugged animation? All the Lizalfos look fine to me when they do their thing.![]()
I have found that the temples /religious buildings are unique to the settlement instead of the faction so how do I convert the faith of the settlement
also, I think this was already noted but in some settlements' walls are considered buildings to the game so siege towers and ladders are not usable
about the religion buildings, they are set to need 25% of the population worshiping their specific region. This can be fixed pretty easily, just go into your medieval 2 total war folder > mods > hyrule > Export_descr_buildings Then find the different relgion buildings and at the end of the faction list the the building is avaiable to it will have requirements to build it, just delete that. It is also set to each faction being about to build every single one of the relgious buildings, so changing the faction list to only those that worship the religion would be a good idea, don't want any majora worshiping gorons
I get a CTD whenever I try to attack a death mountain crater and hyrule prime.
I am having some problems with diplomacy where it is literally impossible to negotiate an alliance or peace treaty with some factions. I was playing as the Gorons and offered the Gerudo an alliance and 60,000 rupees, and the diplomacy thingy said "very generous", rather unsurprisingly. They replied "We do not feel there is a need to enter into an alliance with you". I had a similar problem when I offered the Darknut and Gohma alliances on similar terms whilst playing as Gerudo. I also used add_money cheat to test this further, and found that the Kokiri and Kingdom of Hyrule would be unwilling to accept a peace treaty for 250,000 rupees.
Also, not exactly a bug, but it would be nice if the AI was less aggressive at times, unless they are rival factions or have a claim on one of your regions. I think this is a problem with the game itself rather than your mod, but I know it was fixed in the Darthmod, so perhaps you could do something similar?
When playing as the Gorons I am always attacked by the Kingdom of Hyrule within the first 20 turns. In fact, they seem to attack almost every neighboring faction, and alliances mean nothing either. I was allied with Fairies of Tarn and Zora Dominion, and they both decided to attack me on the same turn, which screwed my campaign.
The Kokiri are also insanely aggressive. I can understand this aggression in some factions, such as Gohma and Moblin, but from the supposedly peaceful Hylians and Kokiri, its pretty annoying.
I also experience frequent crashes in battles. When fighting at Gor Goronon, if I so much as turn round and look at the city in the first few moments of the battle, it crashes instantly.
I want to congratulate the makers of this mod, though. A mod on this scale is always going to have bugs, but doing something like this with the many creatures that perform incredibly on the battlefield is one of the best modding achievements I have seen in Total War.
One more thing, we need more sounds! The Powder Keg launchers are silent when they explode, and it would be nice to have voice acting and a few more battle cries and such that sound like the race. Voice acting would be nice, but I know a voice actor to voice races like the Deku won't be easy to find, so I can understand why there isn't any.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be so grateful, I've been following this mod for some time, and since I've never had luck finding mp games this has been the best to sink time into

In Vanilla MTW2, playing as Turks and having taken Constantinople city doesn't seem to act as ine ( ie paved roads show slow movment , three days to cross territory, same for thesslonika, tried reload and building bigger walls etc ). I read about this somewhere , city id tag or something, is there a way to change it in game ( ie for this save), Cheers
I'm having problems with starting up the game. Every time I try it tells me that it doesn't know why, but its closing down. please, I really want to play this mod, someone help.

So, I noticed that after the first one, whilst all my deku general candidates CLAIM to be Deku Scrubs, I have my doubts... Any idea how to make my general candidates look more nutty?
If anybody else was having the Deku general portrait issue, the fix is to go to Medieval II Total War\mods\Hyrule\data\ui\southern_european\portraits\portraits\young\lesser_generals and duplicate the file 000 six times, rename the copies 001, 002, 003 etc.
I'm unable to start the game.
The installation process:
1. Execute Hyrule4point6_part1.exe, setting the install folder to F:\Spiele\TotalWar\Medieval2\mods\HyruleTW
2. Execute Hyrule4point6_part1.exe, setting the install folder to F:\Spiele\TotalWar\Medieval2\mods\HyruleTW
3. Wondering what I should do with the file HTWpatch.iit that was also included in the archive I've downloaded from moddb
Then, I tried to run the game:
- Execute Executable.bat: the standard Med2 loading splash screen appeared, than a CDT with an empty error message. The log folder is empty
- Execute AUI.bat: picked the UI of the faction I wanted to try (Zora), then the same as above
Did I miss something during installation?
Do I need to do something else to start the mod?
The Med2 installation was not made on my current system. Maybe this is part of the problem, but on the other hand, Broken Crescent runs just fine without any problems.
Weird thing I just found. Not sure if it's a bug or not, but the kokiri barricades. When your in pre -deployment positioning your troops. They scatter around all random like no matter where you click. They go in the general area of where you want them to be, but not side by side.
Found a new one Princess Zelda I doesn't exist in her unit it is instead lead by a regular Hylian General. on a related note what is Zelda I called in the console?
Not sure if this has been brought up, but the Gerudo UI is the one that belongs to the Gorons. Also when I played as Hyrule, my recruitment and constructions queues stalled because I ran out of money. However when I started making money again after cancelling everything,I had around 7500 rupees and I still couldn't build anything in any city. I had to quit because I could build anything anymore.
EDIT: Nevermind, I was just in major debt. But the first thing is still weird.

Just booted up the game after the patch, hit continue campaign, and got a somewhat informal message telling me the game had gone snooker loopy. I'm assuming that the patch is save-game compatible?
Had to crop the log, the full thing was 6mb and I'm limited to 1. This part is the mast 500ish kb - let me know if you need any more.
Doesn't matter, found the issue - that save file no longer appears to exist. Hmmm... don't remember deleting it, but at least we solved the mystery - it was old man Johnson, from the gas station...
