Greco-Persian expansion

Since there is a lot of expansion/DLC threads I want to throw this one in the mix!

This is a very important part of History and I know there are plenty of members intrested in this era including me. Now having seen the amount of mods on RTW covering this era and mod interest on Kingdoms engine I think this is something that CA should consider. Having all the greek leagues with a persian invasion would be good and a map that constitutes to this area only would be feasible.

Let me know your thoughts

I would suggest that this ought to be the first one - it would be massively popular! I'm sure that CA will be thinking about this already.

Im really against DLC's so i'd hope to see this in an expansion

Does not fit the Rome theme. We have better chance for a rise of Rome and fall of Rome.

If the next or future Total War will be about Greeks then this surely will be one.

As long as its possible to mod lol, but I think everything needed would already be in game. I expect we’ll be able to add units or at least edit existing.

it saddens me when I think ,that a couple of years back this kind of thing,would have been made by a team of modders...now we have to pay for one..

So what, the first rome had an alexander expansion. It doesn't matter if it's called Rome.

I would surely buy it but it might be better for CA to just release a new game dealing with the Hellenic and then Hellenistic Era. Maybe covering around 500 B.C.-200 B.C.

Any DLC CA does should be done on a new map or new timeframe. So like in the case of Shogun they went into the past and then into the future.

CA can redo Barbarian invasion or make a smaller regional focus map, perhaps western europe, punic wars or Eastern Europe, larger scale so all the greek cities are including around Alexanders timeframe or post Alexander successor states. Successor states would be more interesting.
