Maybe if we ask nicely, Neph will let us have the DLC just for... for... *tries to think of useful thing done for HTW*... being here for a while? Dang, I've done nothing worthy of exclusive DLC.

Personally, the thing that I think I'll miss the most is not the "boss factions" (Oocca and Majora, as they will be in the game anyway, just not playable) but the Mythical Zelda character.

Don't worry about it. I am sure that there will be other ways to receive the content . Just because this is the only way now doesn't mean we can't get it another way later. It may even be a update far in the future. I doubt Neph wants to go through the effort of moddelling, rigging, texturing, and formatting content for just a select few.

If we get the RP made into a webcomic, maybe we can put forward all the characters! Or maybe not. There are quite a few, and some of them wouldn't add much. For example, 'A knight of the Kingdom of Hyrule. Very loyal to the Goddesses and Princess Zelda, just like... every other Knight ever...'.
