Just a quick warning to you fellas if you see something called ishost.exe or sysnetsecurity.com then run for the hills.
I got this spyware/trojan/virus a few days ago and it has taken some work to try and rid myself of it. The worst thing is after all the nasty goat on duck animal porn and various assorted filth I have visited it came of a bogstandard site, so I feel violated and not in a good way.
It is the worst one to get rid of I have ever come across and after a few days of trying I realised the only way would be to post scan logs for experts on the tech help forums to pick through at hijackthis and felt it would be easier to reinstall and transfer all my files out of my old installation into this one.
In my searching for a cure for this bug I came across various other people who had also come across this problem. One in ingenious fella had even traced the owner of the site Sysnetsecurity.com through the registration files and posted his address. I can't help but feel that an expedition is in order to track down this person and smash his fingers so severly he will never type or use a mouse again. I must stress I feel this is the only just solution to this problem, and I have moderated my own vigilante instincts in coming to this conclusion as my first instinct was a red hot knife up the jacksie hilt first so they cut their fingers trying to pull it out. If I ever build up enough frequent flier points I know where I am taking my next holiday I tell you.
Does anyone live in or near the ukraine and own a gun?
Peter
