    in one article they stated they've been working on rome II for at least a year, so if released next year means a 2 year game cycle.

    i wouldnt be surprised if march is the true release date but the pricing i'm sure it wont be that cheap, the price will be like previous games at 49.99

    They're just pulling dates out of their ass to get people to pre-order with them. Ignore them.

    I wouldn't worrying too much about this guys. I've only just noticed this in the last couple of weeks but there are a ton of games that you can preorder from Gamestop that have yet to have any form of gameplay footage or details released. For example Grand Theft Auto 5 can be preordered now (in fact it could have been preordered the day it was announced) and we don't know anyhting about that game yet. There are bunch of others that can be preordered too. I myself was surprised to see almost two shelf stands full of preorder games that won't be released till the end of 2013 or possibly 2014. Who knows!

    Means nothing. I've seen pre order dates for Elite IV before - which is most likely vapourware.

    A crash doesn't mean deflation so you may be paying hundreds for it. I would buy it because the price is so low, but I don't know if thats a reputable buyer.

    I was hoping for hyperinflation of the Euro which would save my non-euro money if I bought it in Euro

    Pre ordering a game while you don't anything of it is stupid

    Until the game is released you won't have any idea if it is actually playable or overly bugged. (remember ETW)

    I have a feeling this is right, they will have worked on it for 2 years if it is and that is quite a long time for a total war game.
    All you have to do is to decide what to do with the time given to you.

    Amazon is another site guilty of having a guess at release dates without even consulting the devs.
    Not for Rome2 but for other games.

    Sail your ship as part of a fleet. Devs previously worked on: Darthmod, World of Warplanes, World of Tanks, RaceRoom, IL2-Sturmovik, Metro, STALKER and many other great games..
