they have much more time in working on it than any other total war game, So I am sure that they will be incorpating most of the features, don't forget they have about 1/4 done, such as landing battles ect, as proved at the rezzed opening,

oh... scumbag portuguese stores, the later games were only available monhs later after christmas, around february-march...

and with the new games and expasion of the market, the newer releases were in time... (again, in ~march)

only for the delay of empire was consolidated "the February/March" release date. With this new development (with new engine and stuff) the date of release can change. I think october/november. Or september 2013 also.

March 2013 is WAY too ealy. If they release it so early, they will have to rush to finish it in time and we will end up with a disappointing game. If they want to keep March as a release date, why not March 2014?

Im thinking they wouldnt release it in Xmas; as there are too many games to compete with (notably the upcoming COD release - Call of Duty 47; the Battle for Mars).

Also I agree with the belief that they've been working on this game for quite some time behind the scenes; remember - CA has a BIG team working multiple projects (after all they can allocate 2 of their workers to a mobile phone game when Shogun was being made, so why not allocate a few others to the Rome 2 alpha?).

But yes; this is just one website, so I'll hold my breath until I see further evidence that March will be the release date.

didn't they told they started production right after shogun 2 was released?

afaik, after S2 was out, a significant part of the team moved on to RTW2, and was incrementally increased as S2 series was being released (DLC's + Rise + Fall)...


so yes, they much have been working on it, if not just research and concept art for like 2 years

I hate people moaning that they don't want CA to rush it by having an early release, but if you had your facts right, you would know that they started it around the release of Rise of the Samurai

What??!?!?!? Stop this kind of crap!!! They don't have ANY news of preorder on their website nor on FB either and you believe what you found on some site??? Come on! They haven't even shown some gameplay footage and in all the articles and interviews they said multiple times that the game version is still in its early stages.

Its wishful thinking, one game site a few years back had elite 3 on there lists for ages haha, and that game has never even got past the planning stage to my knowledge
