I am not sure if this is right spot, but I present an experiemental film series called......





Battle of the Submods!!!!


Premise:

I take one unit model from two submods and I make them duel each other in a fight to death. I re-rig the unit models to Empire Total War animations and then edit them so it looks like one long fight scene! If you have requests, let me know, BUT THE SUBMODS MUST HAVE A NEW UNIT FOR IT TO WORK! I will update this post when I'm finished.

But as a re-enactor I have to say, they make the typical amateur mistake of merely hitting each others weapons, not even "flynning" let alone really fighting. I know it has nothing to do with you, but it rather a feature of the game. But it looks awful; like two children whacking at each other.

Hmmm...

Is it a feature of the ETW? If so I will have to poke Craig about it.

You made rather serious mess in rigging my model: the shield seems to be rigged to hand rather then to elbow (forearm), swan pins are all over the place (just rig them to torso), the sleeves coming out of armor also are a mess and the lower tunic is incorrectly rigged at the crotch.

Besides that the animation looks pretty cool. MTW2 has a bit more realistic fighting animations with hard slashes and parries.
