    Default What to replace/add?

Seeing how Rome II is in progress, I decided to see how my 2 year old pc still fares..
    Not so good it seems.

I did Intel burntest for my I5 750, and on standard load, the temp rised to a near 100 °C.
On top of that, my graphics card is idling around 60 °C.

So I'm thinking about buying a new GFX card and a CPU cooler, but will this help and what do I need to keep in mind when buying the cooler and card.
(Hoping to stay below a 150€ budget)

your stock cooler is fine unless your overclocking

Intel Burn Test is used only for stress testing a CPU when its overclocked for stability, essentially its worthless to run it unless your CPU is overclocked and you want to test if its 100% stable,

you didnt list your graphics card so I cant help you, that said why are you considering this now? Rome II wont release for another 18 months, buying an upgrade right now if you dont need it would be a worthless waste of time and money,

AMD Radeon HD 8000 series and Nvidia GTX 700 series will both be out before Rome II releases thats another generation of GPUs before its out, unless you desperately need an upgrade right now example your GPU is a 5450 or GT 220 or something else equally weak.

    ATI Radeon XFX HD 5770

But the thing is that I could play STW2 without any problems, but I stopped playing STW2 because every time I played it, the temps would rise up to 90 °C even with the GFX card fan running at full speed.

But I don't know much about what's a reasonable temp, so it could be that I'm misjudging this.

Just to add to what Crazy said.

I think that if your temps are burning that high on stock settings it may be a question of airflow in your case. A good case with good airflow is key to maintaining good temperatures.

I already placed 2 120mm fans at the front of the case, but to be honest, I'm starting to think that those fans are too weak. (Sharkoon System Fan S120)
They don't rotate as fast as the fan that came included with the case I bought.
