Missing mss32.dll

Hello.
When I try to start a game an error message pops up with the following text:

The program cant start because mss32.dll is missing from your computer.
I have reinstalled both vanilla Rome and RSII three times now. I got this message the first time, the second time I got missing skeleton messages and now the same as the first.
This affair is becoming slightly frustrating

It's a basic RTW component which isn't altered by RS, it should be present with the exe.


Could you please take a screenshot of your RTW folder where RS is installed?

Sorry for delayed post, but were on vacation and therefor absent of an computer and internet.
I fixed it, I checked one of the Rome cd's and saw that it were a lot of dirt on it so I cleaned and this time it worked and I am playing RSII flawlessly (To some degree, ctd after big battles, meeh)
