Default What encoding format is this?

I need to know in what kind of encoding sytem this code:

    <0014><0015>

    means this number on-screen:

    12

Does anybody know? I can't find it anywhere and I barely have experience with code..

Do you have a bit more code lol. Looks like the tags for xml to me.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess it's two lines for assembly language. I can't say I remember this in my own past experience but an informed guess and search found this - Demonstrate LMC 3 column and 5 column formats.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    0015 | 12 700 : endwhile

Looks to be part of an instruction set for LMC code values. It's not that the two equal 12 - that's just the mailbox it's assigned.

What's the need for you to understand this if I may ask? In any case good luck!
