    Default The construction of the Colosseum Maximus




    Commissioned in 8.5 BC the Colosseum was to be build by order of Consul Maximus Ceasoninus.
    However he died in 8.4 BC when putting down a Sicilian Revolt his son Julius Caesoninus will finalize this project and name the building Colosseum Maximus. In honor of his father.

    Construction will be completed in 8.3 BC.
